This
Christmas, treat yourself to a magical evening with Clara and the Nutcracker as
Littleton Youth Ballet and Littleton Dance Academy cast a spell over you and
your entire family with its captivating production of The Nutcracker. Featuring a cast of over 135 children, pre-professional
dancers, and guest artists, this delightful ballet will transport you to a
simpler time and an enchanting place, where snowflakes dance, nutcrackers turn
into princes, and wishes really do come true!
LYB’s production is
a fully professional production with gorgeous sets and backdrops, beautiful
costumes, and will captivate the hearts of all ages as they travel with young
Clara in her fanciful dream to the Land of Sweets.
This year’s
production will include newly-designed costumes for the Mirlitons (designed by
Anna Rutter) and the Dew Drop Fairy (designed by costume mistress Jennifer
Aiken). Young dancers Alyssa Palazzo and
Madeline Ryner will be sharing the part of Clara. Guest artists include Jennifer Aiken, Scott
Elliott, Christopher Grider, and Christopher Darling.
